Welcome to Seattle

With so many charming neighborhoods, it can be hard to know where to look. The Hinds Team are your Seattle experts, ready to introduce you to life in the city.

Capitol Hill

Colorful Capitol Hill is bursting with bars, restaurants and a thriving art and music scene. Centrally located in the city, this neighborhood is ideal for those who love to be close to the action; it’s easily walkable and close to public transit, including the light rail. Some of our favorite spots in this neighborhood include Cal Anderson Park and Plum Bistro.

North Seattle

From Lake City and Pinehurst down to Meadowbrook and Maple Leaf, North Seattle is a dynamic region of the city, featuring up-and-coming businesses and a mix of quiet residential areas and commercial development. Perfect for those who want a bit more space than downtown can offer, North Seattle features plenty of amenities and easy access to the water thanks to its border with Lake Washington.

Northwest Seattle

Encompassing Bitter Lake, Ballard and Phinney Ridge, Northwest Seattle brings a quieter, local charm to its neighborhoods. Dotted with small parks and beaches, this region of the city brings a laid- back, PNW atmosphere to its many neighborhoods. Complete with local eateries and historic homes, Northwest Seattle offers a central location and residential appeal.

Northeast Seattle

Home to the University of Washington, along with historic neighborhoods like Laurelhurst, Wedgwood and Sand Point, this area of Seattle is known for tree-lined boulevards, classic architecture and quirky breweries and restaurants. With its numerous schools and proximity to UW, this area is perfect for students, those with connections to the university or families with school-aged children.

Downtown Seattle

From South Lake Union (called SLU by the locals), Belltown, Queen Anne and Capitol Hill, this area is the heart of the city. Steps away from major employers like Amazon, Facebook and Starbucks, this region is where many tech workers and corporate employees call home. With easy access to shopping, dining, entertainment and transportation it’s no wonder so many call these neighborhoods home.

West Seattle

With its beachy vibes and stunning views of the city, West Seattle feels like a world all its own. Ideal for runners, dog-walkers, kayakers and anyone who enjoys making the most of the great outdoors, West Seattle offers a chilled-out alternative to the general buzz of Seattle. Complete with local bakeries and boutiques, West Seattle makes it easy to fall in love with the PNW.

South Seattle

Including Sodo, Beacon Hill, Columbia City and Rainier Beach, South Seattle is full of up-and- coming businesses, restaurants and neighborhoods. From trendy thrift stores to delectable brunches, this region offers plenty of charm all its own.
